Cynthia Cooper grew up Jehovah Witness and had a very hard time understanding the religion. She had a very strict father who was a minister at the Kingdom Hall. She was raised not believe that God was able to communicate with anyone and Jesus was just a prophet. The harsh actions from her parents toward her sister when she married someone who was not a Jehovah's Witness was enough for her to question the religion. Cynthia Cooper's testimony is the reality on how many children and even adults are trapped in a religion, which allegedly is not in line with God's Word.
Cynthia Cooper eventually experienced God speaking to her when she wanted Him to heal her. He instantly healed her and that was her sign He does communicate with those whom desire to know Him. The false teachings she always heard from a child were no longer valid. Now, Cynthia has been set free and shares her testimony with people in her new book, 'The Cost of My Salvation.'
SCR readers, if you know someone who is a Jehovah's Witness, all you have to do is share the Word of God with them. Let them know God is not just a Spirit hanging up in the sky and His Son was not a prophet who once lived on earth, but the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost are very real and God is not a fairy tale. Jesus Christ is the the Son of God and He died on a cross to set the captives free. Can you imagine how many children all over the nation are not allowed to enjoy Christmas and their birthdays? That would cause any child to become bitter and feel as though they are an outcast. Christmas should be celebrated, because it is a special day for the birth of our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ and our birthdays are very special, because each and everyone of us was blessed to be born, which is a natural gift from God and our birth should be celebrated every year.
As for the black church, do you see now why you have to make sure you are preaching the right gospel and not wavering when it comes to making a choice to preach against sin? We have got too many souls lost in other religions and not all of them want to remain being taught in a ministry of deception, but there are some souls who desire to be free. Therefore as born again believers we can no longer be misled by false prophets in the church, but we must be ready to keep the body of Christ purified and completely separated from this world, so when people desire to come out of other religions and become a part of Christianity, they will see a complete change in us and that is, complete sanctification.
