Reporters for Fox 2 News tried to get unanswered questions out of Chief of Police and Pastor Ralph Godbee, but he says because lawyers are involved, he cannot speak much. However, as a man of God, he should be able to speak to the congregation at his church. As a man of God who has allegedly filed for divorce in August and been caught up in this sex scandal, he is supposed to not only apologize, but respect his wife enough to bring her before the church and apologize to her for his misconduct as a husband and pastor. Then, make a press conference and apologize to the citizens of Detroit, the mayor, including employees at the DPD.
We are not sure, but we found that he is the co-pastor of Cleansing Spring Missionary Baptist Church and we could not find a website.
It is such a shame we discovered five women won a lawsuit against Detroit Police Department, you may see a copy of that lawsuit here. Among the five women was Angelica Robinson who has been speaking out to the media, lately. Really, his wife should file a lawsuit after the divorce, simply because if Rev.and Police Chief Godbee did not use protection while having sex with these different women, she could be at risk for STD (sexually transmitted disease).
When is the church going to wake up and not allow just anybody to stand in the pulpit? Just because he is over the Detroit Police Department, it does not make him trustworthy over lost souls coming into the church. It does not matter what position a man or woman has in the outside world, their soul has to be completely delivered from sin before they stand at the sacred desk preaching from the Word of God.
